My feet hurt and I am too tired to write. I am working 16 hours tomorrow and then off for about 10 days. Good thing too, I can tell when it is time I need a vacation because I hate everyone at work. I think nurses ought to get sabbaticals. I know each and everyone of them would sign up in no time flat.

Ahh yes, nurses are the cornerstone of our medical infrastructure. My Sister-In-Law is a nurse, and my wife is a recently retired microbiologist (only 45 years young), so I have some insights into the challenges you face. My toast(s) go out to you - know that there are those of us who appreciate what you do. Glad you have a looming vacation :o)
nurses can't take sabbaticals; what would the doctors do without them?
knowing that you will have 10 days off after your horrendous shift tomorrow will make it worth working tomorrow
