Yesterday was one for the record books at work.. When there is a fire drill, the announce a Code Red and then al the doors shut and you have a protocol to follow. Yesterday afternoon there was a code red, the doors shut, and you couldn't really tell where the "fire" was.
So, after going out of the workroom there were lots of maintenace people and people with fire extinguishers in the hall. Seems that in one of the room (3) there was a misty smoke and smells of an electrical burining.
There were smells above in ICU and Next door in OB. The fire deprtment arrived in full regalia with their axes and a heat cam. You couldnt do anything. The operations that were in place continued and the ones t go didnt start. They spent more than an hour looking for the source of it and decided that it was the smoke from the taring..... I certainly hope so
