Saturday

Good grief!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Just when you thought it was safe to go in the water., something comes and bites you in the arse.....

Met with the realtor (Margaret) , who brought her mentor  (Laura) .................   Well we have lots more to do.   Laura, the mentor realtor, had many suggestions.   She thought the kitchen cabinets looked "dated"   So, now, we are going to paint them white.  But first I have to clean them with TSP and prime them.................... Then to order a new counter top.   Its not going to be granite that  is for certain.

The gameroom on the lowest level needs to have a carpet.   I have already priced a outdoor carpet, it will cost about $100.   You can cut it with a utility knife.  I may be  including sliting my wrists with that same knife by the end of this week.    The old gold stove (who know why) that the parents had in the laundry area is now a goner.   I bet someone takes during the cover of darkness tonight............. She didn't like the fact that Tom turned the garage into a workshop.    People want garages.   They can turn it back into a garage.     Another drawback is that it has no A/C.   Buyers want the Taj Mahal at reduced prices.

He had an old runner (dirty brown)  down the steps, that is also a goner.   The floor looks good, but the riser part of the stairs needs major work.   Don't know what I will do about that.     The old (30+ years)  draperies in s few of the rooms, are to be pitched.   I have already purchased mini blinds.   Laura said that the people who will be looking at this will be in the younger age group, so the drapes are outdated too.

Also want to keep it under 100K.   There is a magic cutoff and we will lose a lot of potential buyers if it goes over that .  Even if for a few K.  And to top it off, we should get it done in one weeks time.   (BANGS HEAD ON TABLE) AND CRIES.

On the bright side.   The new bath looks great.   The newly painted walls and waxed hardwood floor are very attractive.  And the windows are very shiny.   Also a big plus is that there is lots of storage.  Every nook and cranny has been utilized into some type of storage.......Should I start the St Jude Novena now or later, oops I don't have nine days..........................
