I am being driven crazy

I am being driven crazy by my own daughter.   Yesteday she was on her way to go to OH to spend the weekend with her chums.   They had a Halloween party scheduled.       On the way to the gas station, in bumper to bumper, stop and go traffic she plowed into the back of my car.....................

I was really ticked and called her an idiot.   Told her she wasn't paying attention, because if she did she wouldnt have hit me.

So, now her car isn't drivable and mine needs to go to the shop too.  But at least I can drive it.   Good thing is that no one was hurt.   She hurt her finger, so I took her to the ER because she is a musician.   My worst fear is that they will declare her car a total and where will I find a 1998 Subaru with 62,000 miles and in good shape?????  I hope it will be repaired...

Thursday

I don't know what the problem is.  I just don't feel like writing in this journal.  On call on Tuesday and then off for two.   I am beginning to hate call.  I am beginning to dread it actually.   I think it is all the extra bs that we have to put up with while I am there.

Got this performance evaluation.   The thing is confusing.   There isn't one criteria asking if I had killed anyone during the year.   I guess I need to some other input on what exactly is required.

Emily got her check from the symphony.  She made a copy of it.  It was for her first professional gig.   Can't live on it, but, the extra is good.

My week off is almost over.   The weeks off go so fast and the time working goes so slow.   Where does the time go and why does time off go so fast.   It seems like an instant that I am dragging the boxes with Christmas stuff down from the attic.    I am tired of doing that too.

Tueday

Don't know aabout Tuesday, Tuesday.......I am off this week.   My daughter is now a member of the Johnstown Symphony..  She said that she enjoyed playing again.

I guess this week will be devoted to doing some cleaning up.....I decided that I hate cooking and cleaning.   Everything just needs to be done again......

Trouble at work, I hope it gets resolved.   I am too old to be worrying about jobs.  If I had the money I would retire for sure.   Maybe I will hit the power ball.   That is plan Z, almost in Neverland.  That mean I won't do it almost for cetain.

Monday, Monday

Well, its been almost a week.   And how your life can change.    Emily is now a professional musician.    The Johnstown Symphony called and asked her to fill in and she is going to play the season.    Won't  make a ton of cash, but she loves to play and I am so happy for her.

Trouble in River City.   The hospital isn't honoring the contracts it set out.   That does not surprise me one iota.   The CEO always think they are smarter than, and do not have to abide to things that us mere mortals do!!!!    This one will be a big show down.    They also think the peons below them are stupid.    Just look at the current CEO scandals and trial.   They are arrrogant and think they are above us all.

The medical profession, and related professions are the only ones that the costs go up and their reimbursements go down.  It has gotten to the point that the reimbursements are not covering the costs.   So, therefore one of two things have to happen.   The hospital has to kick in a portion of the cost of providing the service or the reimbursements from the insurnace has to go up.    BC has the monopoly on this area and their attitude is "tough luck"    Also the same from the hospital administration.   A contingency plan is in effect so, who know what will play out........Hope it doesn't  last long and some one will come to their senses.

Thursday

Still hot.   I can not believe that it is 84 in the middle of October.   I should be wearing my corderoys.    There is allegedly a cold front coming...I hope so.  One of these Sundays we are going to go to Loretto and take in a watercolor show.   Maybe I will make it a fall folage trip and  and make a day of it.

Last Monday we went to Johnstown.   It took one hour to get to the town and another half hour to get to the east side of town.   Emily seemed to be happy  playing again.   I hope this is for longer than one concert.....

Concert

The concert was awsome (to quote my daughter).   I would like to know how Mick Jagger keeps going and going like the energizer bunny.   I am willing to be that they are the longest together rock group.   And their appeal is to many ages.  There were people in their teens thru their 50/60's.  Didn't see any geriatric 70 or 80's though.

They did new releases first and then their classics at the end.   I enjoyed the show.
