Monday

I was having a hard time loading my stuff.   About a month ago my daughter said that she used Mozilla as her service provider.   I had down loaded and recently I have been having trouble loading my settings.   I deleated the program and now my things just flash on.     I guess Mozilla was like a gorilla and hoging up all the traffic.

I am getting the car inspected and a few little other things to do.  I found a computer class on how to clean up your computer,  when I clicked the register button it just came up with a search and when I typed in the info it said that the class was unavaliable.   I honestly think the people who run the CCAC computer service should get on the ball.   Not only did their system fail to register my daughter for two classes she needed, it won't even let me enter what I need.  After she is finished I am going to send them a letter telling them what asses they are.........They have all kinds of classes, maybe their computer tech people should take them.............

Saturday

It is early in the morning.   I am up on my day off and going to a professional meeting.   WHY DID I DO THIS TO MYSELF OF MY DAY OFF?????  I guess it seemed like a good idea at the time.................................

But I get points and a few free meals.......The topics did look interesting and I don't  have to drive far....

I am on vacation ALL next week.   How does things to do fill the avaliable space in your time off????   I have somethig to do almost every day.  Like, get the car inspected, another educational meeting,  Drs appointment.   It is like all your junk expands to fill the avaliable space you have in your house.

We have more junk that we ever did.  We had moved a lot during our marriage.  And with moving every few years we got rid of a lot of stuff that we would accumulate.   We haven't moved since 1989 and the stuff is taking over.   Maybe it is time to move again, or maybe it is time to move it to the attic and save it and let our daughter pitch it when we die.   That would be the greatest pay back........

My husband says no to moving the stuff to the attic because the ceiling would fall in or perhaps down.....

Wednesday

Another noneventful day at work.   Did orthopedics.   And then I got relieved because I am oncall tomorrow, so I got to leave. he schedules have been light.   All because of that yahoo, who is a MD and a real shit.   He think he can do no wrong.   No one misses him.   His partners refuse to believe that HE could be the problem.  So they are taking their patients elsewhere.   Or at least the ones that they can.......................

I hope it is not busy tomorrow.   I do not feel like busy.   Have to take the cat to the vet on Friday.  She meowed once in her life and I know that Friday will be the second time.

We are getting Emilys classes all arranged.   If I make it through this summer I will be very happy.

Monday

This past week has been one for the books.  Chuck was sick again this past week.   Started with sore throat, fever and coughing.   This is the sickest he has been.   Too weak to walk around.   He went to the ER and they admitted him.   The doctors think is is all from his smoking.   I think that is a factor, and he has to permanently quit.   But, also I think he had some superimposed infection on top of that.  He has been catching up on his reading.  All the magazines that have been sitting on the coffee table have now been read.     Went to the book store and got him some books,  his favorite subject is WW2.  It is hard to pick out books for someone else, I hope he likes the.

Lots of things to do today.   Why is it, that, when you have time off, your things to do suddenly appear and fill the avaliable space????  I never have time off just to veg, I always have things to do???

This DSL is very nice.   I can sit and type on the computer and talk to people at the same time......

Sunday

Another Sunday is here.   This week, again, has been a hamster wheel ride.   I  have spent all week working on the house.   My brother came up with a great idea to paint the inside of the kitchen cabinet white.  They look good, BUT he and his wife were going to do it.   All they did was make a mess and the other 3 sisters had to finish the damn painting.   I was ready to strangle him............and so were the others.

The one door in the kitchen had a stain.   I noticed it a year ago and asked my dad what hapened (it looked like some carbon based thing)  Dad ignored the question.   The realtor said it looked bad (it did).   So, we abandoned the plan to paint the outsides white and got some Scotts Liquid Gold and they are shining.   The damaged door has been sanded, stained and re-polyurethaned.   There is a guy who has a paint store not too far from me and he was able to analyze the stain and came up with the exact match.  At least, I can not tell the difference.  We decided that whomever bought the house would probably replace them so why waste our time.  Also, I went to Lowes and the cost for a inexpensive laminate counter to was $800 and for them to install it was another $1000.  That would have been really polishing a turd.........

Chuck and I (I was the go-fer) cut and installed the indoor-outdoor carpet in the gameroom.   That also looks nice.   The last project for me is to clean the kitchen floor, and that is really a mess.   I will use the floor scrubber and hope it gets clean.  I have to clean up and hide all the supplies and tools.   Guess I will put them in the basement and closets.  It will all be gone when the sale is complete...   MY sister and my nephew are also going to be working.   I am paying Sean to paint the porch railing.   He is going to the HS prom and needs the cash because he lost his job.   The rstaurant closed....

I am looking forward to having nothing to do with that house.   I think I will save the procedes for my face lift, which I will be needing after worrying about this............

Sunday

After sleeping on yesterdays problems we have decided we are not going to paint the cabinets.  We just don't have the time.  We will clean up the ones we have.    The truth of the matter is that the whole kitchen needs redone and why waste our time.     Went to Lowes and to get a new countertop (plain Formica type)   it would cost $800.  And to have them install it would be $1,000.   That is really too much.

We did put up the mini blinds and it looks great.   The workshop can still be made back into a garage and I am not putting in A/C.   Someone else can do it.   The stuff we are going to do this week is mostly cosmetic, not structual.  And that is the name of that tune....................
