Tuesday

Yesterday at work was a very busy day.  It lasted till almost midnight.  I came home and took and nap and then had to take Chuck for a colonoscopy.   That was REALLY exciting.  The worst thing about the colonoscopy is the prep.   If you need one you will be trotting like a race horse.   I wondered how these really old people do that.   I could hardly make it myself and if you are not agile it could prove to be a problem

My daughter started back to school to get the last few credits she needs  She is  going on full time status.  Just one extra class to make her ft status and therefore elibible for health benefits.  She is going to make a standing apt with the counselor and go to talk to them, hopefully, she will do allright and be able to finish. 

Tomorrow is a do nothing day.   I can fill the day with do nothing stuff with no problem.   I also getting better typing on this laptop and am making less mistakes.

 

Saturday

I think I have my computer all set up.  I still have to send in the rebates.  It is funny that all the stuff I liked is HP.  Chuck came home today with a printer\scanner.  I want to do all the pictures from my childhood and make a cd and give them to my siblings.

Back in the routine since my trip to visit my friend.   Had a good time TN is such a pretty place (Chattanooga)  It is in the mountains and quite spectacular. 

Have to move my computer and set up stuff to the room formally know as my dtrs.  And also to clean up the mess that I have made over the past few weeks.   Maybe if we built houses with no hori9zontal surfaces we would have a much neater place.

 

 

 

Thursday

Well, I was out and about in TN to visit my girlfriend.  The drive was uneventful, and that is the way I like it.  It is a ten hour trip thru mostly mountains.  The ride thru WVA is spectacular.    It woud be even more spectacular in the fall.  I am still having these problems with the  computer.  It is the position of the keyboard and I am still having trouble reaching the keys, maybe it is the position of the mouse pad in front.

My new car is really nice.  In the past after about 6 to 8 hours drive I would get lumbar pain and pain in my right thigh.  But this time it was not a problem.  I made the ride pain free.   I usually have to stop somewhere overnight, but, this time I did not.   I think now, I would only stop overnight if it was dark.  And I dont picture myself driving in the dark.

I had a little problem with getting on to write in my journal.  Somehow I changed the setting so now I had to refresh them

Monday

The only problem with the new conputer is that I have to get used to the arrangement with amore difficult arrangement for typing.  I guess you will get used to it,.Went to my 40th hs reunion.   I didnt recognize any of those old people.   lol lol

Everyone tells me they have lots of fun.  I saw a few people I knew ut that good time never materialized.   We left after about one and a half hours.  Maybe their fun and my dwefinition of fun are tow different,  I really dont think that I will go o another.

Just a few days before I go on my trip to visit my freind.  we will have alot of fun without our husbands tagging along.

 

FRIDAY

I got a new computer.  I have been reading about this for about three week now.   I had been looking for notebooks and came upon a HP that I really liked.  The thing that I liked the best was that the keyboard was comact, this is really important when you have small hand like I do.

Plus it had two rebates totaling $250.  Which I have to send in.  So far so god on this situation computer wise.  

 

Thursday

Today is NOT raining.   I know that people in the southwest would love to have our rain.   But, our ground is saturated.   By now the grass is usually all brown but it is still green and growing.

Not much new.  I am still being frustratedby my dtr and her college registration.   She is the worlds biggest procrastinator.  This past half year to a year have been very difficult.  I can not rely on her to get anything done.  She has things to do and people to call but she does NADA.  I wish I could be inside her head to figure out what is going on.

School starts in three weeks and she is procrastinating on that.
